Development of partnerships between research units and various organizations, in order to expand the possibilities of technology transfer;

Development of projects (within national and international programs), in the fields of mining ventilation, methods of preventing and combating mining phenomena and disasters.
The activity in the Department for Safety of Mineral Resources is included in the achievement of scientific research (basic and applied), technology transfer and other specialised services performed under optimal quality conditions with good results in terms of capitalisation possibilities, to ensure and improving occupational health and safety. The aim is to ensure the continuous development of its fields of operation in order to satisfy the high quality level of all requests from business clients, in close agreement with legislative changes produced as a result of the harmonisation of national legislation with EU law.
